Meals

• Breakfast - Each morning between 7 and 8 am, we serve a breakfast consisting of cold cereal, toast, and juice.
• Snacks - We provide nutritious snacks to all children over the age of 8 months mid-morning and in the afternoon. These consist of crackers, fruit, and a drink of milk, juice, or water. We ask parents of children under 8 mos of age to provide their own snacks.
• Lunch - Parents are asked to provide a lunch for their child. This can be a home packed lunch, or parents can purchase a lunch from our lunch provider for $3.25 per day. Menus are distributed once a month, and parents (and children) can select from 3 menu items each day. Each menu item includes a fruit and a vegetable.
• Sugar Policy - We ask Parents not to include items with considerable amounts of processed sugar such as fruit rollups, sweetened canned fruits, or sweetened juices.
